USING LASERS & SONOTHERAPY TO TREAT CANCER

New research has found that laser therapy can be highly effective as a cancer treatment. At Malachite Centre we use different wavelengths of lasers to stimulate cells in multiple ways. When used with the right combination of medicines, these lasers have been proven to kill cancer cells and activate the immune system.

On site we perform photodynamic therapy and novel natural medicine infusions. Photodynamic therapy uses medical lasers at specific wavelengths to selectively target tumour cells. In summary, the lasers stimulate our photoactivating agents that then react with oxygen within the tumours to produce localised free radicals. This results in apoptosis and cell destruction. In some cases we combine this with sonotherapy (sound) and vibrational shock therapy to further enhance the effect.

HOW WE WORK WITH YOUR ONCOLOGIST

Should you require chemotherapy, radiotherapy or surgery, we will collaborate with your oncologist and relevant experts or alternatively we can call in our team of specialised interventional radiologists, oncologists and plastic surgeons.

‘Natural chemotherapy’ infusions can be used in combination with conventional chemotherapy or as an alternative when conventional methods are no longer effective. These natural medicines are known to modulate the immune system, reduce inflammation and may inhibit the growth, mutation and spread of tumour cells. This form of ‘natural chemotherapy’ often has little to no side effects and in many cases has a positive effect on healthy tissue.

You will be pleased to know that our infusions are meticulously sourced from around the world, most notably Germany, Australia and USA, and include high doses of intravenous curcumin (derived from Tumeric), artesunate (derived from Artemesia), EGCG (from organic green tea), resveratrol (from red grape skin and knot weed) and high dose ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), amongst others.

Your treatment protocols are then enhanced by utilising various complementary treatments such as traditional acupuncture, TCM pulse diagnostics, live blood analysis, hair analysis, sclerology, iridology, DLOST, myofascial release, therapeutic massage and other diagnostic tools.

NUTRITION & SUPPLEMENTATION

Diet is always a big discussion point when dealing with cancer and at Malachite we have the expertise to guide you through this.

As you have probably come to know, cancer doesn’t just affect the place where is has metastasized. Nutrition, energy levels, cell-functioning and immune-system are all compromised. Oral supplementation does not always achieve the desired outcome and very often patients arrive to their first consultation with us and are over or under supplementing or taking a multitude of supplements that are in fact counteractive. We are able to advise you on the best nutrition and supplements to take which will support your treatment, lift your immune system and nourish your body.

As digestion and absorption are often impaired in advanced cancer states, Malachite focuses on replacing nutrients through specialised drips and concentrated nutritional supplements to assist with weight management, energy levels and overall resilience.

BLOOD & DNA TESTS

Your comprehensive blood tests are carried out according to international oncology protocols to assess immune function, nutritional profiling and inflammatory status. In addition we offer sputum DNA analysis of single nucleotide polymorphisms in order to assess nutritional, hormonal and specific metabolic pathways relevant to treatment options.

In collaboration with Lancet Laboratory, we offer cancer specific genomic testing such as NGS Solid Tumour Panel looking at molecular variances of the tumour tissue to help target therapy, Oncogene Dx for certain types of breast cancers to predict risk of distant recurrence and the likelihood of chemotherapy benefit and the usual BRCA1&2 genes where appropriate.

In some cases we test circulating tumour cells for specific chemotherapy sensitivities, including CARIS testing to ensure that both natural and conventional chemotherapy is specifically targeted according to your tumour’s unique DNA mutation.
