Brett Simpson: Cancer Resilience, Coaching and Mentorship
Brett took the experiential route to qualify as a cancer counsellor and coach through his own unique cancer journey, as well as witnessing and supporting family members and friends through their journeys. His formal coaching training added framework to his pioneering methodology through internationally acclaimed The Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and Integrative Enneagram Solutions.
For more then ten years, he has been building his understanding and experience both formally and informally, experiencially and intellectually.
He successfully launched a number of businesses winning both international and national acclaim as the top social enterprise in South Africa through Top Technology 100 (2008) and across Africa as the leading social enterprise to come out of Africa (Africa SMME - 2008)).

Life Experience
I supported my mother through breast cancer in 2006. Six months later I stepped into my own journey with a rare and aggressive skin cancer.
Having lost four people and supporting another three family members and close friends, I began to understand how this disease affects mind, body, and spirit. Ultimately, it has resulted in a passion and vision to help those through their journeys from an emotional, psychological, physical, and spiritual perspective.
My life mission is to explore and inspire shifts in healing and self-awareness in the mental, emotional, and spiritual lives of those dealing with and healing through a cancer diagnosis and after traumatic life events.
I have experienced and am fascinated with the science of the psychoneuroimmunology and the true power of our emotional states of being and its effect on our health. Stepping into the unknown: As a direct result of my cancer journey and my new perspective I created two successful businesss (proudly failing my first), completed 10 ultra marathon events in 36 months and continuously explore my inner world, participating in over 20 personal development courses such as Mankind Project, Art of Living, World Alive transformational, REAL training etc.
